Cookeville FFA Member Elected State President for 2013-2014
Sarah Best was elected State FFA President for 2013-2014 at the conclusion of the 85th Tennessee State Convention in Gatlinburg. Best is a member of the Cookeville FFA Chapter.
Joining Best to serve as state FFA officers for 2013-2014 are Jeffery Rogers of the Munford FFA Chapter as state vice president-west, Scott Bohanon of the McEwen FFA Chapter as state vice president-middle, Rebekah Wright of the David Crockett FFA Chapter as state vice president-east, Melinda Perkins of the Paris FFA Chapter as state secretary, Colton McClanahan of the Stone FFA Chapter as the state treasurer, Samantha Beard of the Eagleville FFA Chapter as the state reporter, and Rachel Ralston of the Riverdale FFA Chapter as state sentinel.
Sarah will be attending the University of Tennessee – Knoxville and majoring in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Comunications. Her agricultural education instructors and FFA advisors are Danielle Johnson and Jaclyn Vester. For the next year, Best and her state officer peers will be the face and spirit of FFA. Collectively, they will travel thousands of miles throughout the state as they engage top leaders in business, government and education and lead a host of personal growth and leadership training seminars for FFA members. The team will also help set policies that will shape the future of the Tennessee FFA Association and promote agricultural literacy in general.

Rebekah Wright was elected State FFA Vice President-East for 2013-2014 at the conclusion of the 85th Tennessee State Convention in Gatlinburg. Wright is a member of the David Crockett FFA Chapter.
